Our Work

Navigating the worst with the
best of who we are.

R3 is led by a multi-disciplinary, culturally diverse, private-sector board of directors. The foundation was created to offer financial assistance to non-profits and non-profit-exempt organisations with programmes and services that provide emergency  preparedness, life-sustaining financial  relief and sustainable  economic and environmental development.

Readiness

The Readiness Committee aims to protect the social and economic interests of the Cayman Islands long before a crisis occurs. This could include investing in the development of preparedness plans, infrastructure hardening, vaccination programmes and food security.

Relief

The Relief Committee focuses on time-sensitive support in the aftermath of a crisis. This could include assistance with rent, utilities and medical costs as well as the provision of food and essential personal items. Relief also invests in educational support for children attending school remotely, and mental health services.

Recovery

The Recovery Committee centres its efforts on community redevelopment after a crisis. This could include supporting professional reskilling and upskilling programmes, providing childcare options for working families, assisting mental health awareness initiatives and restoring and protecting our environment.

R3 supported YMCA summer camp programme

“R3 Cayman Foundation
made it possible for the YMCA to offer a summer

camp programme for over 500 young people. In addition, this grant allowed us to provide financial assistance to families that are struggling as a result of the pandemic."
