 About R3:

R3 Cayman Foundation was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in May 2020, with the longer-term mission of helping our three islands proactively prepare for, resiliently cope with and sustainably recover from future man-made or natural emergencies and disasters.

Matching Programme:

The foundation was established with a founding contribution of CI$1M from the Kenneth B. Dart Foundation, and a pledge to match a further CI$4M of donations made to R3. One of the foundation’s initial fundraising campaigns aims to encourage employers to match funds donated to R3 by their staff, which would in turn be matched by Mr. Dart’s foundation. This matching programme effectively quadruples the impact of each employee’s donation towards Cayman’s readiness, relief and recovery efforts.
