Kensington Management Group Ltd. Donates CI$21,000 to R3 Cayman Foundation

Grand Cayman, 11 November 2020: R3 Cayman Foundation is pleased to accept a generous donation of CI$21,000 from Kensington Management Group Ltd. 

The donation will be matched by the Kenneth B. Dart Foundation for a total amount of CI$42,000. 

In accepting the donation, R3 Fundraising Chairman Chris Duggan said: “R3 was established to help Cayman’s private sector leverage its strengths in support of our three islands’ readiness, relief and recovery in times of national emergency. We are proud to accept this donation which will be used to help Cayman proactively prepare for, resiliently cope with and sustainably recover from future disasters.” 

Kensington Senior Vice President Michelle Lewis said R3’s mission resonated with the organisation. 

“With all of the hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was an easy decision for Kensington to donate to a charity whose focus is to assist not only the people, but also the community of the Cayman Islands as a whole,” she said. “Kensington has been fortunate to weather 2020 and our hope is that in celebration of our 21 year milestone, our donation, together with the matching gift from the Kenneth B. Dart Foundation, can lift up others that may not be as fortunate, as well as help our community be better prepared for future challenges.”
